Like yourself we have found ourselves gradually cut off from all local riding round Kingsley because of the incredible increase in traffic-particularly on the B 3004.

Years ago my children rode down to Kingsley Common, Broxhead , Oakhanger etc with no difficulty but now with advancing years and a horse that is not too happy about pantechnicons with flapping blue canvas sides taking up 3/4 of the road the local riding is severely restricted. In fact we tend to box to Frensham area for safety.

We used to be able to cross to Broxhead from the Oxney farm road but the recent erection of a barrier at the top of this road now prevents this.

It is difficult to know who to go to about these problems so it is a great relief to find a BHS bridle ways officer who is so on the ball and actively promoting horse riders rights.

If there is anything we can do to support you or help in any way please do not hesitate to ask.
